Earlier in 2024, Hog Roast Dracut was contacted by Martin to provide catering at a music festival that he is managing this July. The event takes place each summer and has been steadily growing in size- and more guests means more catering options are required. We suggested our classic hog roast for this occasion and Martin agreed that this menu would be a huge hit at the festival. With multiple catering options to choose from, our classic hog roast does a great job of attracting customers since it smells and looks incredible while it cooks.
In preparation for the festival, the Hog Roast Dracut team will arrive at the venue in the morning and prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. All of our dishes are cooked on-site for optimum freshness, which is the best way to maximise taste with our high-quality ingredients. We will start by slow-roasting the hog for around five hours and allowing it to cook to perfection on-site. Once ready, the pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we will also be serving BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious alternative to pulled-pork. The mains will be served alongside homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and corn cobettes, creating a varied and delicious buffet lunch option. Our menu is sure to be a great success with the festival-goers and the Hog Roast Dracut is looking forward to enjoying some great entertainment whilst we work!
