Our catering manager, Kyle, arrived early to get everything ready for the big day. We were thrilled to see a huge turnout—Ben’s shop was brimming with excitement as locals flocked to celebrate the occasion! The store was beautifully decorated with balloons, bunting and a bouncy castle for the kids. Ben also threw in a generous 30% discount on all products, adding an extra dose of excitement.
As shoppers enjoyed the sale, they were also treated to Hog Roast Wherwell’s scrumptious BBQ spread. Our homemade gourmet sausages were a standout hit, with guests raving about the moist meat and perfectly balanced seasoning. The British beef burgers were a close second, with our marinated chicken kebabs and tender spareribs also receiving high praise.
We didn’t forget about the non-meat-eaters either! Our grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, along with veggie burgers, ensured no one was left out. And, accompanying these tasty treats were sides of coleslaw, Greek salad, and mixed fries—transforming the BBQ into a hearty, satisfying meal.
As the celebrations wound down, it was clear that Ben’s 30-year anniversary celebration was a tremendous success. The combination of fantastic food, great discounts, and lively entertainment made for an unforgettable event.
